LifeStage Advantage
MetLife LTC LifeStage Advantage is MetLife's newest long-term care insurance product. It combines simplicity, flexibility and affordability in product design which makes it easy to create a policy to fit virtually any client and budget. LifeStage Advantage offers the choice between two plans specifically designed for different life stages. (Currently available in AL, AK, AR, DE, DC, IA, IL, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MO, MS, ND, NE, NH, NM, OR, RI, SC, WV, and WY. State availability subject to change.)
Simple AdvantageSM - This plan is great if you are in the midst of your career, because it gives you the flexibility to get started with LTC Insurance now with a more affordable level of coverage and then add to it later - as often as every three years. Choose an initial total benefit amount between $75,000 and $500,000 and then have the option to purchase increases for up to double your original total benefit amount, without having to prove good health in order to purchase such an increase.
Custom AdvantageSM - This plan is great if you are getting ready to retire or are already retired. Custom Advantage helps you handle the cost of LTC whenever you many need it - with your choice of total benefit amount from $75,000 up to $1 million. In addition, you have the option to help your coverage stay current with the likely rising cost of care.

Ideal
Policy - The Ideal policy
will help to provide the type of long-term care you need in the setting
you want, including your home, Nursing Homes, Assisted
Living Facilities and Hospice Facilities. If you would
like to remain in your home, this policy provides features
to make that transition more comfortable. The home health
care supportive services will cover services such as
shopping, laundry services, meal preparation, housekeeping
and transportation. The Ideal Policy also includes a
transition expense allowance which will help pay for home
modifications and durable medical equipment.

Value
Policy - If you are looking
for a long-term care insurance policy that will offer
solid coverage at a good "value", the Value
policy may be right for you. It can help you get the type of long-term care
you may need, in the setting you want, including your home.
This policy also offers the Indemnity rider, which will
allow you to be paid your full Daily Benefit Amount every
day a covered long-term care service is received, regardless of the
cost of that service. (Policy form series LTC2-VAL,
in some states coverage is offered by

the states 2 letter abbreviation).
Facilities-Only
Policy - If your primary concern
is to have long-term care insurance coverage for a catastrophic
event, then the Facilities Only policy may be the right
choice for you. It provides coverage only for care received in Assisted Living
Facilities, Hospice Facilities, and Nursing Homes. This
policy helps to protect you and your loved ones from the
high costs associated with Facility care. (Policy form
series LTC2-FAC, in some states coverage is offered
by

the states 2 letter abbreviation. This policy is currently not
available in GA, OR, PA, RI and VT. State availability subject to change.).
